“Stitch” stood at Weatherford Equine in Weatherford, Texas, during breeding season and lived at owners Billy and Shelly’s Martin Quarter Horses in Sealy, Texas, for the rest of the year. His offspring are known for their kind demeanor, playful nature, trainability and size. Their talent in the arena speaks for itself—Stitch was an Equi-Stat Top 25 Leading Barrel Racing Sire and has sired pro rodeo money earners, futurity and derby champions, slot race winners, RFD-TV’s The American qualifiers and multiple Open 1D money winners.
His most recent success is current 2018 top futurity horse JS Milo And Stitch (“Happy”), a 4-year-old bay gelding out of Tres Seis daughter TK Twirl, owned by Jennifer Fite and ridden by Janet Staton to more than $220,000 in only six months of competition. Other notable progeny include Andrea Cline’s Stitchs Streaknfame, Landrie Parker’s Stitchs Honor N Fame, Jamie Hodges’ KN Panellapie, Kay Blandford’s KN My Mamas Famous 2, among many others.
The stately buckskin stallion enjoyed a successful performance career himself. Trained by Andrea Cline, Stitch was a multiple futurity finalist, 1D average champion and pro rodeo money earner.
